Stay Informed!
Each month a newsletter/calendar will be published in order to keep you informed of all the events going on at Ellendale. The newsletters will be published online and copies will be sent home with students. You can fill out the attached “Opt Out” form if you wish to go paperless and view the newsletter online only.Another great source of info is our new Parent/Student Blog. The blog will be updated weekly with the latest news and happenings around our school. You can access this interactive form of communication by visiting our school website. We hope you will take advantage of all the many ways you can stay informed of your child’s education! Morning drop off time begins at 7:45. Students must be in classrooms by 8:10. Afternoon dismissal is 2:45 and students must be picked up no later than 3pm. Thank you for having your child at school on time.
New Car Line Safety ProcedureIn order to ensure all children are safely sent home with the correct caregivers, we are asking that each adult picking up a child in the carline have a school issued car tag visible in their front dash. If an adult comes to pick up a child without a tag, we will politely ask him or her to come inside the office to sign out the student. Each family has been given 2 of these tags. If you need more tags, please visit the office. Thank you for helping us to ensure the safest environment for your child!

The key to school success...STRUCTURERoutine...kids thrive on it! To help your child get back into a school routine, set up a nightly homework time and adhere to a strict bedtime. Kids need plenty of rest. Be sure to check student planners daily for notes from your child’s teacher. Read all classroom newsletters and review all work sent home. Be sure to celebrate all of your child’s successes! You can make a difference!
